Colony Park Junior Football Club are delighted to announce the appointment of their new manager Kevin Bonarius. As Kevin takes up the reigns, ex-gaffer Richard Davidson departs to take up the role of First Team Coach at senior neighbours Inverurie Loco Works FC. Chairman Roger Langtree praised Richard Davidson for the work he has put into the Club over the last few years and wishes him every success in his new role. “Kevin has been with Colony from an early age and joined the Juniors when they were formed in 2011 and has served them well as a player and a coach since then”. His Assistant Manager and Coach will be Steven Morrison, together with Barry Marwick as Goalkeeping Coach. Kevin, along with his backroom staff will bring new ideas to the club. He plans to retain the majority of the current squad but realizes there are areas of the team which require strengthening”. Roger Langtree added, "Kevin will get the full backing of the Committee but the ethos of the Club will remain the same. Meanwhile just a few yards across Harlaw Drive, Locos boss Andy Low was welcoming Richard Davidson back to the Football Club. "Titchy is a person Steven Park & I trust implicitly both as a bloke & a top coach. It's a major undertaking to manage & coach a leading semi-professional side, & Titchy joining us gives us a depth & a freshness about the place. He's no stranger to us or the supporters of course & it's wonderful to have him back at Harlaw". Locos Chairman Mike Macaulay, "These are exciting appointments for both Football Clubs & I'd like to thank my opposite number Roger Langtree who made Richard's move seamless, allowing the Juniors to ensure continuity in naming Kevin as the new Manager. Our synergy & friendship with Colony Park is held in the highest regard & we work well in tandem for the good of Inverurie football".
